Thank you for being part of the blessing of building bridges 2024!

Below is a summary of activities that took place on oct. 24 and the impact you helped make possible.

Saturday, October 24, 2024

For our 22nd year of serving seniors, military families, disabled veterans, and overwhelmed households with minor maintenance, repair, irrigation, household and yard cleanup, and visitation with fellowship, we were blessed to have:

122 volunteers serving in 54 projects.

For these projects we had the privilege of being hosted by 11 widows, 29 seniors, a disabled veteran and the chaplain at Camp Parks for a special paver project in the chapel area.

In addition, volunteers with 4 on-site projects helped meet some significant needs locally and globally through preparing:

70 Calming Jars for SRVUSD high school students struggling with chronic anxiety.

A trailer of food and paper goods, now on the shelves of Shepherd’s Gate, ready to be received by women and children fleeing abusive situations.

96 backpacks of school supplies, headed to World Vision’s distribution center, for children caught in disaster areas.

100 basic toiletry kits for needy persons to be delivered by Amazing Grace Maritime Missions later this year.

Thank you to all who played a part in putting your “love in action” through the above areas and more. Please pray that these efforts would continue to have impact, spiritually as well as practically, in the weeks and months to come.

And stay tuned for the 23rd Building Bridges (Oct. 2025) and other opportunities to serve along the way.
